Discouragement Dragging You Down?
The older I get, the more difficult it is to remain healthy. Discouragement gets in my way. The five extra pounds that I could melt away by running a few extra miles a week when I was twenty now takes rigorous exercise for months to whittle down. Discouragement can creep in and make us sabotage our efforts. How do I know? I’ve let it happen to me.
No one has ever accused me of being skinny. But for most of my life, I’ve enjoyed good health. If I exercise regularly and eat healthy foods. But good health doesn’t happen without our participation. We have to work at maintaining healthy habits and routines if we want to achieve physical wholeness.
After my husband’s run-in with a near-fatal case of cancer almost ruined my health, I’ve had to work even harder to keep myself healthy. Along with all that hard work comes a fair amount of discouragement. After all, some people can just think about exercise and lose a pound.
On today’s podcast, I’ll share seven hacks to help you when discouragement sneaks into your journey. Stay positive and take the steps necessary to keep on track–no matter how long your journey takes.

I am not in the discouragement phase (37 lbs down so far) but that is just past the 1/2 way point in my goal so it will come sooner or later. Thanks!
