What? Self-Care Hacks for Writers and Creatives is Different?

It might surprise you to find out that writers and creatives need to pay special attention to their self-care routines, especially if they’re juggling their creative endeavors with a full-time job, family, or other important relationships. It makes sense though. I’m probably not the only one that has gone into a creative marathon in order to meet a deadline (or just follow my muse), and found myself feeling completely uncreative the following day.

In today’s podcast, I chat with Canadian author Tara Ross–a wife, mother, speech pathologist, and published author. Tara uses ten self-care hacks for writers and creatives to keep her energy AND her creativity flowing–no matter what the circumstances (hello, COVID-19).

Listen in and discover ways to keep YOUR energy level up and your creative juices flowing. If you’re a writer or creative, I’d also love to hear from YOU. What do you do to take care of yourself? Have your self-care habits changed at different stages of your writing or creative career?
