Want to form healthy habits? The acronym SWEAT will help you remember five key habits you need in your life to improve your health.
Can You Form Healthy Habits if You Don’t Like Exercise?
When I go to my doctor for my yearly check-ups, she assures me I’m the picture of good health. Shoot, even my Apple Watch, and my Wii tell me I’m younger than my actual age. And I don’t like exercising. Well, I didn’t start out liking exercise. In elementary school, I was the uncoordinated kid who got picked last for everything. By the time I reached high school, I struggled to pass PE. In college, I got a B in racquetball. You get the picture.
But you can form healthy habits even if you don’t love exercise. You can even find exercises your body enjoys. More importantly, you can look at the whole picture of your physical health. Exercise is one piece of the puzzle, but sleep, proper nutrition, and movement play a big role, too. If you want to form healthy habits, just remember the acronym SWEAT. Listen to the podcast to find out what it means!
