While we’d all like to believe we can succeed on our journey by our own steam, the truth remains: a co-pilot or accountability tool can help us arrive more quickly.

Do I NEED a Co-pilot or Accountability Tools to Get Healthy?

The myth of the lone wolf is simply a myth. Sure, a lone wolf might accomplish great things all by herself, but either the wolf isn’t being honest about whether or not she received help, or it’s taking her twice as long to accomplish her goals. While we might be able to do things on our own, having a co-pilot to keep us on track, cheer us on, and encourage us when we mess up makes the journey to better health a lot easier.

And what about accountability tools? Some people swear by them and others hate them. I think it all depends on your personality type and personal preference. A more involved co-pilot might work for some while others prefer to rely on gadgets and gizmos to act as a co-pilot. You may need to experiment a bit until you find out what works for you.
