I don’t know about you, but I find it helpful to trick myself into making big changes by adopting small, manageable changes in my routines. If someone tells me I need to take 10,000 steps a day, I might feel overwhelmed. Especially if I wear a tracking device and discover I only take a thousand steps a day.
but I can trick myself into taking more steps a day by parking further away when I go grocery shopping. That’s what I mean by learning to sneak healthier habits into your life. The 328 steps from my car parked in the back forty of the Walmart parking lot will add up over time.
