Do negative family interactions make you hate the holidays? Try these six self-care hacks for improving your family gatherings. It’s not too early to start planning for a happy holiday season.
Ever Thought of Improving Your Family Gatherings?
Family. We love them, yet they know how to push our buttons and drive us crazy. A little advanced planning (starting in September or even earlier) can go a long way towards improving your family gatherings. But if I plan ahead, I can figure out responses to the usual flare-ups that occur over the holidays.
I can’t anticipate EVERY possible negative scenario, but I can plan my reaction to possible negative scenarios. And planning ahead goes a long way towards improving family gatherings. The holiday season holds enough stress without adding relational stress as well.
