Those post-holiday blues can hit at any time, even on Christmas Day. These hacks will help you banish the blues before they take hold of your life.
Anita,
You always have such good advice! I’ve given up New Year’s resolutions as well — just more expectations waiting to not be met. I think I’ve gotten better at accepting the bittersweet emotions that come with holidays — especially Christmas. Lowering expectations, in general, has helped me with not coming down with the post-holiday blues.
Blessings in the New Year,
Bev xx
Perfect post for this time of year, my friend. I always get a little bit of sadness at the holidays. Although I am uncertain if it’s the holidays that cause it or simply my seasonal affective disorder kicking in at this time of year. We kept Christmas super simple…just me, my husband, and our two boys and it honestly was the best Christmas ever…low-key meant stress-free and that’s how I like it! I hope you had a blessed Christmas!

Thanks for this. I get post holiday let down every year.
Wishing you a wonderful new year!

It sounds like you have some helpful tips! Although this time of year is wonderful in many ways, it definitely also has its challenges. Look forward to hearing your thoughts on New Year resolutions!
Great advice Anita! I actually had pre Christmas Blues this year… But I love your take on this in the following;
“Depending on your triggers, you may need to accept you will always feel a twinge of sadness at Christmas. But that doesn’t mean you need to accept a sentence of full-blown holiday blues.” Amen!
Bless you,
Jennifer
